Vintage Baseball

September 9 – 11

Rewind through history as America’s pastime is played as it was played 160 years ago. Vintage teams will take the lawn for an exhibition from the period when “base ball” was two words and the game was played with the original rules of the mid-1800s. Pitching was underhanded, fielders didn’t use gloves and base ball was played in open fields without fences. Players recreate the look and lingo from the era, complete with vintage reproduction uniforms.
